Singing as a hobby or a career.

Since she was 4 years old, she always loves to sing. In the morning while her mother is voice taping (during the early 80's this is one way to show how they were doing to her father working abroad), she started singing songs by Claire dela Fuente, which are her favorites. Whenever I hear this voice tape, I cannot help but wonder if her mother had honed her skills, she could be a professional singer by now. Although she is now working in a marketing division of a company, she would sometimes join singing competition, or engage herself to singing in different programs in her company during holiday seasons. Her talent had become a hobby. But who knows, maybe whether or not her mother sent her to a voice lesson school, she might still end up not being a professional singer. This makes me contemplate on what destiny really mean for each one of us.
