Yesterday I made my very first "gajar ka halwa" (carrot pudding). I got the recipe from Manjula kitchen (http://www.manjulaskitchen.com/2007/04/26/gajar-ka-halwa-carrot-halwa/). Although I burnt the cashew nuts a little bit, it still came out to be good. Satish liked it. So today I made it again for our midnight snack. I would say that the ingredients are fairly simple but the cooking time is not that attractive. You have to stir it in low flame many times until the liquid is dried. Regardless of this, the taste, aahh, all worth it.
