Signs of spring time
First signs of spring season is shown this week. Just last week ago the temperature in Suwon had average around -2 deg C and one week later it hit a positive double digit temperature of around 14 deg C which is pretty much maintained within this week. Two days ago, as I look down from our balcony, I have noticed the more upbeat behavior of the residents my area as they stroll along the temporary market that is set-up every week downstairs beside our building. The weather is particularly beautiful at that time, bright and windy. I felt a sudden joy inside me as I look outside observing the people below and subjecting myself into the first signs of spring time. I would say that winter has not been that bad, I experience the first actual snow fall in my life and the full winter season here in Suwon. However, I think most people will not argue that going out in a below zero temperature is painful and uncomfortable. Not to mention depressing at times when it is particularly gloomy. During winter the day is shortest while night is longest thus is Suwon during winter as early as 5 pm the surroundings will start to get dark. Going out at night is even more painful so you cannot see many people roaming at this time. Me and Satish usually end up staying at home watching DVDs or downloaded sitcoms. I cannot wait for spring and to be able to go out and walk towards the mall or cinema at night. Chao...
